A fresh and fruity dessert combination for breakfast.
Protein shakes are currently my favourite! My daily Snapchats every morning start with one of these. There are many reasons why I love protein shakes in the morning. Sometimes, I can’t stomach eating so early in the morning and a liquid breakfast is just what I need. Instead of having just protein and water, I like to make delicious variations of some of my favourite drinks – strawberries and cream is one of them.
For this, I used Nuzest’s Clean Lean Protein in the flavour Strawberry which is a favourite of mine. A lot of people don’t like the texture of pea protein but try this combination out as I feel like the texture is masked. I made this shake vegan but if you don’t want too much of a coconut taste, just use regular cream.
Strawberry & Cream Low Carb Vegan Protein Shake

- 2 scoops Nuzest’s Clean Lean Protein (strawberry, vanilla or natural)
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 1 cup almond milk
- 4 ice cubes
- Add to a high spend blender until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more almond milk or water until you get your desired consistency.
- I like to pour mine into a glass and top with crushed freeze dried raspberries.
