Mothers Day Gift Guide

With Mothers Day only a few weeks away, here’s some ideas to get for your Mum! I’ve created three items for each different type of Mum which could be bought all together or each would be a excellent stand alone gift! Ps. Don’t forget to add a card and some beautiful gift wrap for a personal touch.

The Weekend Getaway Mum

Mission Estate Wine ($24) // Kapiti Cheese Pack ($70) // Wilson & Co Picnic Hamper ($150)

Is your Mum the kind of Mum heading away on the weekend for a slice of sanctuary. If so, then this is for her. This picnic hamper from Wilson & Co is a stunning addition to any travel venture whether it be local or a getaway. Add one of these cheese packs from Kapiti which come in a range of sizes with different cheese and accompaniments. Pair that with a bottle of Mission Estate wine (the Savignon Blanc is a fav of mine!) which you can pick up from your local supermarket and you’re sorted.

The Entertainer Mum

JS Ceramics Bespoke Platter ($54) // Cheese Knives ($25) // Annabel Langbein Share The Love

If your Mum is often hosting others at hers and loves to cook for friends or family, this is for her! I love these bespoke platters from JS Ceramics. They have a range of different painted designs and as these are all handmade, each piece is unique! I also love these cheese knives from Salt & Pepper which can be found at your local Farmers in either gold or silver. I have these in my own home and they make such a statement on a board. Give Mum some inspiration with a cookbook such as Annabel Langbein’s Share The Love.

The Relaxed Mum

The Caker Cake Mix ($25) // Teapot ($10) // Storm & India Bespoke Tea ($40)

Is your Mum more of a home-body that prefers weekends in and reading a nice book to relax? Sort her out with this Almond Macaroon bespoke tea from Storm & India. It’s one of my favourites! You can also pair it with of the beautiful teapots avaliable from Kmart. They’re always on trend for only a fraction of the price. If she’s more a baker, gift her this Chocolate Hazelnut Cake Mix from The Caker. It’s so easy to make and tastes delicious!

The Busy Mum

My Food Bag ($120) // Custom Phone Case ($110) // Nespresso Coffee Machine ($399)

Is your Mum a busy Mum that’s always on the go? These will be perfect for her! Gift her a voucher for a week of My Food Bag. She’ll get the convenience of having her dinners sorted for 4 nights in the week without the hassle of heading to the supermarket or needing to come up with recipes. If she’s always on her phone, customise one of these cases from The Daily Edited and have her initials monogrammed into the case. How cool! As she’s always on the go – and in need of coffee, pick her up a Nespresso machine to save her time in the morning and if she already has one, grab her some refill pods.

The Pampered Mum

Flossie Voucher ($50) // Gucci Fragrance Set ($139) // Michael Hill Diamond Bracelet ($299)

Does your Mum love to be pampered and like nice things? Grab her a voucher from Flossie which covers all things beauty whether it be hair treatments, massages, eyebrows, tans – even makeup application! She’ll have no problem finding a service that suits her needs. If your Mum loves perfumes, this Gucci set from Mym.co.nz will have her sorted with a fragrance for each week day. Even better Mym gives you the product and lets you pay it off in instalments! If you’re wanting something a little more lavish, Michael Hill have a range of Mothers Day specials with this diamond bracelet being one of my favourites!

I saw this post last week and over the weekend was in Farro looking for a last minute gift for Mum. I bought her the cake and cooked it for her myself. She loved it! Thanks for the inspo!
